Join your fellow Coloradans on Dec. 10 as we give back to our Boulder community. Starting at 12 a.m., make a donation to local non-profit organizations within 24 hours to support Colorado Gives Day 2013. On ColoradoGives.org, search for charities by location and cause, and click "Donate Now" on their profile page to donate as little as $10 by credit card or bank account information. Here, you can also set up recurring donations to keep the giving going all year. In addition, every donation made will get a boost from FirstBank's $250,000 Incentive Fund. Plus, if you get all your friends to support your favorite non-profit organization, that charity will be entered in a pool of prizes of $5,000 each (for organizations with 30 or more donations made). As even more incentive to donate, donors can go to FirstBank's Facebook page on Dec. 10 to answer trivia questions and donate a prize to their charity of choice. So, who can you donate to? If you want to keep it local, check out organizations like the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, Boulder Valley Women's Health Center or Boulder Community Hospital Foundation (search our zip code 80301). ColoradoGives.org also features more regional causes like the Alliance for Sustainable Colorado and Bicycle Colorado.
