December is one of the best times of the year to live in our Boulder apartments. The stores nearby are all decked out in holiday garb, and the streets come alive with a genuine holiday spirit that's hard to find outside of the Rockies.
Among the most popular events of the season is the Lights of December Parade, which will take place on December 7, 2013 at 6:00 pm. On that evening, floats galore will grace the streets of Boulder and cruise along, delighting adults and children alike with their festive displays. It's even rumored that Santa himself will be in attendance, so this is an excellent opportunity for your kids to see him.
This year's route will take the parade down Walnut, 11th, and Spruce Streets. That means there will be plenty of parking venues nearby and plenty of great spots for you to see the show. So grab your kids, call your friends, and make sure you stake out a spot to enjoy the spectacle from.
For more information about living in our pet-friendly Boulder apartments, send us a message and we will be glad to send you all of the merry details to think about over the holidays.
Boulder is full of boos this fall. Well, more specifically, it's full of ghosts who loved the town so much they never left. Among them, there's Walter Montgomery whose antics still light up Pearl Street throughout the year. He's a feisty little child who just can't quite stay out of trouble.

Of course, he's just one of many that you'll meet along the way when you sign up for a tour with Banjo Billy and his crew. They'll take you all over town and show you the favorite haunts of the dearly departed spirits that still roam along the Front Range.
Their 90-minute tours will take you all over town and into the spooky, the scary, and the unexplained. It's a lot of fun and an evening you won't soon forget as you hear the tales of woe, heartache, and tragedy that have turned some of our former residents into spirits who roam by night and play by day throughout the afterlife.

ZEAL Optics, located at 1230 Spruce St., will host the event at 5-10 p.m. While you wine and dine, you'll be able to bid on silent auction items and win raffle prizes, all to help our neighbors in Boulder.
The auction items and prizes include products from ZEAL Optics sport eyewear lines, outdoor gear from Kelty and Patagonia, backpacking supplies from Sierra Designs, snowboarding products from Never Summer and Burton, snappy and stylish items by Volcom and Kidrobot, and more.
Plus, in the spirit of moving onward and upward, the event will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Snowboard Magazine. You'll get to hear first-hand accounts of exploring Greenland, see movie premieres and get psyched for the snowy season ahead in Colorado.
