This season, get in touch with the Boulder Nordic Club and join in the fun with them. They have been making trips all around the state since 1989 and they would love to have you join them on their next adventure.

This non-profit organization is dedicated to providing groomed trails, paths, and opportunities for skiers who truly enjoy the outdoors. It’s free to join and they always have a great group of people you can go skiing with.

Most importantly, when you join the club you won’t have to worry about getting to the mountain by yourself and spending your days wandering aimlessly about. It’s a great way to meet people and make some long lasting friendships that you will truly treasure.

See the Lights of December Parade by Our Boulder Apartments

December is one of the best times of the year to live in our Boulder apartments. The stores nearby are all decked out in holiday garb, and the streets come alive with a genuine holiday spirit that’s hard to find outside of the Rockies.

Among the most popular events of the season is the Lights of December Parade, which will take place on December 7, 2013 at 6:00 pm. On that evening, floats galore will grace the streets of Boulder and cruise along, delighting adults and children alike with their festive displays. It’s even rumored that Santa himself will be in attendance, so this is an excellent opportunity for your kids to see him.

This year’s route will take the parade down Walnut, 11th, and Spruce Streets. That means there will be plenty of parking venues nearby and plenty of great spots for you to see the show. So grab your kids, call your friends, and make sure you stake out a spot to enjoy the spectacle from.

Fashion's Night Out Downtown BoulderThere are many events in Downtown Boulder that will simply blow you away. Among them, the annual Fashion’s Night Downtown Boulder is one of the most popular, and this year, it will be taking place on August 29, starting at 6:00 pm at Pearl Street Mall.

If you are a fashionista, you won’t want to miss this incredible extravaganza of the latest fashions and designs. More than 25 retailers are participating in this year’s show that will feature a catwalk display of the clothes you are dreaming of.

Chelsea, Buffalo Exchange, Common Era, Earthwood Gallery, and many others will be strutting their stuff. You’ll be able to browse their collections while you sip mocktails, munch on appetizers, and listen to music waft through the downtown area.

This is all part of the Fun Nights Downtown calendar that Boulder has put together, and they want everyone to come out and join in the fun. Food, fashion, and fun: what can be better than that?
