The Habitat believes in creating a space that is unique and easily utilized, and we've remodeled our floor plans to make it even easier to take advantage of the space you've been given inside your home.
But we know utilizing space doesn't come easy to everyone, so we've compiled a few tips that we think will help you best use your square footage.
- Don't be afraid to go vertical. Your apartments in Boulder allow you the unique ability to head upward with your space. Consider picking up some floating shelves or utilizing a ladder shelf to display some of your coolest artifacts. The good part about this is these shelving units are so stylish that they don't appear intrusive in your space.
- Arrange your furniture uniquely, and use mirrors and interesting artwork to create a visually appealing space. Your mother is wrong; the couch doesn't need to go against a wall, and open storage doesn't look "messy". Making things interesting and different is considered chic now.
Our place is pretty small for a Xmas tree and I wasn’t sure if one would fit. So we turned our unused fireplace into the Xmas tree using duck tape and garland, works like a charm !!
