Here, we share a bit about the Museum of Boulder and its upcoming wildlife exhibit.
About the Museum of Boulder
Our city has a unique history and bright future. Since 1944, the Boulder Historical Society has worked to preserve documents and artifacts from our past and offer a glimpse into what makes Boulder one-of-a-kind. The Museum of Boulder has grown by leaps and bounds since the year 2000, and now provides a host of outreach programs for our community. The museum currently occupies the historic Masonic Lodge building and offers a host of exciting Boulder-related exhibits throughout the year.
Living With Wolves: Open Through May 20, 2019
Whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast or simply appreciate stunning photography, you’ll love the Living With Wolves exhibit. This incredible display is running through May 20, 2019, and it’s the perfect opportunity to learn more about the mysterious lifestyle of a wolf pack.
At the exhibition, you’ll have the chance to admire National Geographic’s incredible photography of these gorgeous animals and immerse yourself in the interactive experience. Colorado was once home to a thriving gray wolf population, and reintroduction efforts are currently in the works. While wolves have a fearsome reputation, they can benefit the local ecosystem when properly managed. The Living With Wolves exhibit separates fact from fiction and aims to educate the public on the beauty and merit of these remarkable creatures.
