4th of July at Boulder Reservoir

For a low-key celebration, pack a picnic and head to Boulder Reservoir. Enjoy the park’s lively beaches and bask in the warm Colorado sun. Rocky Mountain Paddleboard will be on site renting SUPs and offering participants the chance to cruise around the lake and cool off in its clear waters.

Every holiday in Boulder is accompanied by a fun-run of some sort. For this year’s Independence Day, Avery Brewing is hosting a lively race, complete with beer and breakfast at the finish. Competitors can even win their weight in beer.
