Many Colorado football fans may still feel dejected from the Denver Broncos’ playoff loss. Despite the defeat, fans throughout the state will still want to get together and watch the NFL’s biggest game. In Boulder, locals can meet up at numerous different bars, restaurants, and breweries to enjoy this year’s Super Bowl. If you’re looking for somewhere to watch the game that’ll be less crowded than Downtown Boulder or closer to our Habitat Apartments, here are some places you can go to on Super Bowl Sunday:
Asher Brewing Company
There are so many great local craft breweries in Boulder, but none are as close to our apartment complex as Asher Brewing Company. Luckily for Habitat residents, the brewery that’s nearly in our backyard has a taproom that will be showing the Super Bowl game. In addition to organic beer, you can also get something to eat at one of food trucks parked outside. Asher Brewing offers a fun and relaxed viewing atmosphere on Super Bowl Sunday, so you can’t go wrong with this option.
Bogey’s Eatery & Spirits
Located just one mile north of our apartment community, Bogey’s is Gunbarrel’s go-to full service restaurant and bar. Bogey’s menu offers a wide selection of Italian and American comfort food, with a kitchen that’s open ‘til 9:30pm. Its full bar has 16 beers on tap, a variety of wines, and classic cocktails. With 5 flat screen HD TVs, you can watch the Super Bowl while enjoying a good meal and drink with your friends and neighbors.
Pro tip: Bogey’s has a dog yard for canine-loving guests so you don’t have to leave your furry friend at home on Super Bowl Sunday!
Twisted Pine Brewing Co.

Boasting as Boulder’s “premier sports brewery,” Twisted Pine certainly aims to live up to the hype. Its alehouse has an impressive menu, with many beer-infused options. You can expect special game day food and beer discounts during the Super Bowl, much like past NFL Sundays. The current tap menu has something for every beer drinker—from the Raspberry Wheat to the Big Shot Espresso Stout, your taste buds will certainly not be bored. If you’re looking for an exciting game day experience, with lots of tasty treats, then Twisted Pine is the place for you.
Fate Brewing Company
Celebrating its second anniversary this year, Fate Brewing Company has already become a popular craft brewery in Boulder. A family-friendly gathering place, Fate offers a locally sourced menu and a full bar in addition to its own 30 beers on tap. During the regular season, Fate has offered happy hour prices all day on NFL Sundays. With 10 HDTVs and a heated and covered patio, you can expect the same great deals and atmosphere during the Super Bowl.
